Job summary

CORETECH GMC SDN BHD is seeking an HSE Executive to oversee and coordinate the Health, Safety and Environment department. The role ensures the workplace complies with legal and regulatory requirements, while driving continuous improvement of the IMS.

The candidate will liaise with DOSH, DOE and BOMBA, manage HSE monitoring activities, and lead CIMAH certification renewals and ERP planning in collaboration with the CIMAH Competent Person.

Qualifications

• Oversee all activities of the HSE department.
• Liaise with government authorities (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, etc.).
• Lead ISO 45001:2015 and ISO 14001:2018 implementation and improvements.
• Be part of the Integrated Management System (IMS) document control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate periodic HSE monitoring activities, including Chemical Exposure Monitoring.
• Manage Emergency Response Committee and emergency preparedness.
• Collaborate on CIMAH certification renewal and ERP with CIMAH Competent Person.
• Oversee reporting, labelling, storage and disposal of scheduled wastes.
• Perform other HSE dept tasks as required.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (HSE) EXECUTIVE

Oversee, supervise and coordinate all activities of the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Department. Ensure the workplace is safe and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Liaise with government authorities such as DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, etc., and manage the relevant form or requirement periodic report

Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 45001:2015 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) and ISO 14001:2018 (Environmental Management)

Act as part of the document controller for the Integrated Management System (IMS)

Coordinate and arrange periodic HSE monitoring activities, including Chemical Exposure Monitoring

Manage the Emergency Response Committee (ERC) and oversee emergency preparedness

Collaborate with the CIMAH Competent Person for the renewal of CIMAH certification and Emergency Response Plan (ERP)

Oversee the reporting, assessment, labelling, storage, and disposal of scheduled wastes

Perform other tasks related to the HSE Department as required
