YORU TECH SDN.BHD. is seeking an Health, Safety and Environment Executive to support HSE compliance across workplace operations in Malaysia.
You will help ensure adherence to OSH and EQA requirements and implement internal HSE policies while maintaining documentation. You will coordinate training, assist in regulatory reporting to DOSH/DOE, conduct site inspections, document investigations, and monitor corrective actions.
This role involves supporting HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) compliance and management across workplace operations. You will assist in ensuring adherence to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Environmental Quality Act (EQA), and internal HSE policies, while maintaining documentation, coordinating training, and supporting regulatory reporting.
Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Environmental Quality Act (EQA), and internal HSE policies, procedures, and requirements
Maintain, review, and update HSE documentation, including inspection checklists, risk assessments, audit records, procedures, and related documents
Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and documentation to DOSH, DOE, and other relevant regulatory authorities
Conduct regular workplace and site inspections to identify potential safety hazards, environmental risks, and areas requiring corrective action
Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure identified safety and environmental issues are properly addressed within the required timeframe
Assist in workplace incident, accident, and environmental investigations, including evidence gathering, documentation, and preparation of investigation reports
Assist in planning, coordinating, and conducting HSE training, employee inductions, emergency drills, toolbox briefings, and safety awareness programmes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE training records and monitor employees' training and refresher requirements
Provide administrative and coordination support to the HSE Committee, Safety Committee, and Safety Coordinators
Prepare meeting minutes, maintain records, and monitor the progress of action items arising from HSE and safety meetings
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in HSE, occupational safety, environmental management, or a related field is preferred
Good knowledge and understanding of HSE responsibilities, workplace safety practices, and applicable regulatory requirements
Valid DOSH Green Book (SHO) certification, or relevant certification.
Good understanding of current HSE compliance requirements, industry practices, trends, and workplace safety issues
Strong organizational and administrative skills with good attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of integrity and professionalism
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
