Job summary

DSIC SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a workshop supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our automotive repair workshop and lead workshop staff and students.

You will coordinate practical training, manage tools, equipment, vehicles and inventory with a strong focus on safety and 5S, and prepare essential reports to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Minimum SKM or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Relevant workshop mechanic/technician experience is an advantage.
• English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin communication is preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Good problem-solving skills to handle workshop issues.
• Exposure to latest automotive technology and systems.

• Oversee daily operations of the automotive repair workshop and lead staff and students.
• Coordinate practical training and workshop activities.
• Manage workshop tools, equipment, vehicles and inventory with a focus on safety and 5S.

Manage workshop tools, equipment, vehicles, and inventory while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards.

Prepare and maintain relevant workshop reports and documentation to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements

• Minimum SKM, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Relevant workshop mechanic/technician experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle workshop-related issues effectively.
• Exposure to latest automotive technology and systems
