Job summary

HTC Global Services MSC Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced AS400 / RPGLE Developer to support the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of the Bank's Silverlake SIBS Core Banking system in Kuala Lumpur.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in RPGLE, CLLE/CLP, DB400, SQL and IBM AS400/OS400, with exposure to core banking applications and SDLC processes.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant IT application development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in RPGLE, RPG, CLLE, CLP, DB400 and SQL.
• Experience with IBM AS400 / iSeries / OS400.
• Experience with Silverlake SIBS Core Banking is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of the Bank's SIBS Core Banking system.
• Analyse user requirements and ensure they are accurately translated into system enhancements and solutions.
• Develop and enhance applications using RPGLE/RPG, CLLE/CLP, DB400 and SQL.
• Ensure programs are efficiently developed, properly tested and compliant with IT development standards.
• Perform application maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancements for existing systems.
• Liaise with users to understand application issues and provide appropriate corrective actions.
• Conduct system reviews and identify opportunities for application improvements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical and system documentation.
• Follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and IT standards.
• Take ownership of assigned applications/projects and work closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, users and other stakeholders.

AS400 / RPGLE Developer – Silverlake SIBS Core Banking

We are looking for an experienced AS400 / RPGLE Developer to support the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of the Bank's Silverlake SIBS Core Banking system. About you

Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or equivalent.

3–6 years of relevant IT application development experience.

Strong hands-on experience in RPGLE / RPG, CLLE / CLP, DB400, SQL, IBM AS400 / iSeries / OS400.

Experience with Silverlake SIBS Core Banking is highly preferred.

Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience in banking/core banking applications will be an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical and business teams.
