Job summary

OCBC e2 Power Sdn Bhd invites applications for a dynamic Head of Trade Finance Operations to lead, transform and ensure excellence across letters of credit, documentary collections, bank guarantees, and supply chain finance.

The role requires strategic vision, strong governance, risk and regulatory awareness (MAS, ICC, AML/CFT), and the ability to drive automation, data analytics and cross‑functional collaboration within a fast‑paced banking environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Trade Finance Operations and leadership.
• Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory frameworks and compliance in trade finance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence across functions.
• Resilient, results-driven with a strategic, hands-on leadership style.
• Prior leadership experience in banking/financial services is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformational initiatives for Trade Finance Operations.
• Oversee operations across Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, and Supply Chain Finance.
• Drive automation, digital platforms, and data analytics to improve efficiency and turnaround times.
• Ensure robust controls, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Foster continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration across teams.
