Job summary

OCBC Bank seeks an experienced trade finance leader to head Import and Export LC operations. You will manage two to three Team Leads and a 15–20 staff team, delivering timely LC issuance and advising with strong controls.

You will develop people, drive service improvements, and oversee risk and regulatory compliance across OCBC Group entities. A degree in Banking/Finance is preferred, with relevant trade finance certifications an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in trade finance operations with Import/Export LC knowledge.
• Proven leadership of Team Leads or sizeable teams.
• Solid understanding of UCP 600, ISBP and AML/sanctions controls.
• High stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Team Leads and teams, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee Import LC issuance and Export LC advising and confirmations, including amendments and cancellations.
• Ensure service quality and compliance across OCBC Group entities.
• Provide guidance on complex or non-standard transactions and risk management.
• Collaborate with Business, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Operations to resolve issues and support needs.
• Drive process simplification, standardization and automation.
