Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a Head of System in Klang to own end-to-end management of all business application systems, including core financials and lending platforms. The role oversees a team and collaborates with the Digital Transformation Team to drive modernization and seamless integration across platforms.

The successful candidate will ensure system reliability, governance and continuous improvement while aligning with transformation initiatives and business needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in systems, application management, project management or technology delivery.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years in a systems or project leadership or management role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the systems roadmap in alignment with business and digital transformation priorities.
• Own and govern all business application systems and ensure stability, security and proper support.
• Translate business requirements into clear system specifications and oversee delivery from requirements to post-implementation review.
• Govern data quality, definitions, ownership and integration across systems and data warehouse.
• Collaborate with the Digital Transformation Team on transformation initiatives affecting systems, processes or data.
• Oversee testing, deployment and user readiness, ensuring go-live readiness and post-deployment support.
