Job summary

SOLS Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking a Head of Supply Chain Management to own the strategy for planning, sourcing, purchasing, storing and deploying materials and services. You will lead a team, optimise supplier relationships and drive cost discipline across residential, commercial and manufacturing segments.

Reporting to the CEO, you will align cross-functional plans, ensure licensing and compliance, and push for continuous process improvement in a fast-growing solar company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record negotiating with suppliers and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen — understanding how procurement decisions drive margins and P&L outcomes.
• Experience designing, improving and enforcing SOPs and approval workflows in a fast-moving environment.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, with ability to build and develop a team.
• Experience in solar/renewable energy or similar import- and compliance-heavy industry (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own and refine end-to-end supply chain strategy across planning, sourcing, purchasing, storage, movement and allocation.
• Lead supplier selection, onboarding decisions and long-term supplier relationships.
• Drive procurement cost discipline and its impact on margins across segments.
• Set stock policy and oversee inventory turnover, accuracy and write-off risk.
• Ensure licensing, compliance and licensing requirements are fulfilled and kept up to date.
• Lead, coach and develop the SCM team and define decision authority levels.
• Align procurement and stock plans with Sales, Installation, Technical and Finance, and report to CEO.
