Job summary

VHR Consultancy is seeking a strategic Head of HR to lead the HR function for its manufacturing operations in Malaysia. The role partners with senior leaders to drive organisational effectiveness and oversee HR operations across two entities.

You will drive talent acquisition, foreign worker management, payroll reviews, and HR analytics, guiding a high-performing HR team and providing data-driven insights to the Board.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HR in manufacturing or a similar operations setting.
• Expertise in HR operations, recruitment and foreign worker management.
• Strategic HR business partnering with strong commercial acumen.
• Strong HR data analytics and ability to translate data into insights.
• Results-driven leader with stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
• Willing to station between Cheras and Nilai, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-spectrum HR operations, including recruitment, HR administration, employee relations and performance management.
• Develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organisational growth.
• Oversee workforce planning, talent acquisition and foreign worker management.
• Lead and develop the HR team across two business entities.
• Drive HR analytics, reporting and data-driven decision-making for senior management and the Board.
• Review payroll processes, HR systems and operational efficiency.
• Support regional recruitment activities across two SEA entities.
