Job summary

EC-Council is seeking a Sr Director- Business Development to lead our sales function, drive growth, and expand market presence. The role involves steering the sales team, strengthening client relationships, and translating client needs into compelling cybersecurity service proposals in collaboration with technical and management teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and managing a sales or business development team.
• Strong capability in people development, including training and ramping up non-technical backgrounds.
• Strong consultative selling and solution-based sales in professional services.
• Experience engaging enterprise customers and senior decision-makers.
• Ability to translate client requirements into services and commercial proposals.
• End-to-end proposal management, client presentations, negotiation, and coordination.
• Experience in sales reporting, pipeline management, and BD planning.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or tech consulting is preferred.
• Exposure to regional or international clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team to drive growth and market expansion.
• Engage clients through consultative selling and build strategic relationships.
• Develop and execute sales strategy, proposals, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity heads, service lines, and finance for go-to-market and billing.
• Represent EC-Council in events, partnerships, and brand activities.
• Ensure effective CRM, reporting, and cross-functional alignment.
