Job summary

Institut Darul Ridzuan (IDR), the think tank for Perak's state government, seeks a Head, Collaboration, Communication & Project Management to lead strategic engagement, communication, collaboration, and programme delivery. The role requires strong leadership and a track record in managing complex projects and stakeholder networks.

You will oversee planning, monitoring, budgeting, risk management, and performance, while strengthening corporate communication, brand visibility, and relationships

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, public relations, corporate communication or project management.
• Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives, manage resources and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the department’s strategic and operational planning in alignment with IDR’s organisational goals.
• Oversee the implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of programmes and strategic initiatives.
• Lead strategic stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication with government agencies, private sector, and strategic partners.
• Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and timely delivery.
• Manage departmental resources, budgets, and operational performance.
• Identify strategic risks and oversee appropriate mitigation measures.
• Strengthen corporate communication, brand visibility, and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with integrity, governance, quality, and organisational standards.
• Lead and guide the department team in delivering organisational priorities and special assignments.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head, Collaboration, Communication & Project Management to lead IDR’s strategic engagement, communication, collaboration, and project management functions.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.

Experience:

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Project Management, or related fields.
