Job description

Institut Darul Ridzuan (IDR) is the think tank for the Perak state government, dedicated to driving impactful policies and strategic initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head, Collaboration, Communication & Project Management to lead IDR’s strategic engagement, communication, collaboration, and project management functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the department’s strategic and operational planning in alignment with IDR’s organisational goals.

Oversee the implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of programmes and strategic initiatives.

Lead strategic stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication with government agencies, private sector, and strategic partners.

Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and timely delivery.

Manage departmental resources, budgets, and operational performance.

Identify strategic risks and oversee appropriate mitigation measures.

Strengthen corporate communication, brand visibility, and stakeholder relationships.

Ensure compliance with integrity, governance, quality, and organisational standards.

Lead and guide the department team in delivering organisational priorities and special assignments.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.

Experience: 7–10 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Project Management, or related fields.
