Job summary

Kingsley Land Sdn Bhd seeks a strategic technical leader for Civil & Structural and Infrastructure across multiple projects. You will drive planning, review and delivery of C&S and earthwork solutions, ensuring quality, feasibility and compliance.

You will provide senior technical guidance to management on design, cost optimisation and risks, oversee consultants and internal teams, and mentor the engineering staff to uphold standards. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in C&S, infrastructure and earthwork.
• Professional Engineer (PE) qualification is preferred.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for C&S and infrastructure matters across projects.
• Drive R&D initiatives, technical innovation and design optimisation to enhance project value and constructability.

• Lead consultants, contractors and internal technical teams on C&S and infrastructure matters.

• Monitor progress and ensure deliverables meet quality, cost and timeline requirements.
• Develop and mentor the engineering team to strengthen capability and standards.
• Assist in overall Project/Technical matters and perform other tasks as delegated by the CEO.

Job description

Provide strategic technical leadership for all Civil & Structural (C&S) and Infrastructure matters and engineering design across the Company's projects. Lead the planning, review and delivery of C&S, infrastructure and earthwork engineering solutions, ensuring technical quality, feasibility and compliance.

Key responsibilities

Drive Research & Development (R&D) initiatives, technical innovation and design optimisation to enhance project value, efficiency and constructability

Provide senior technical advice to Management on engineering feasibility, design, cost optimisation, constructability and project risks

Lead and oversee consultants, contractors and internal technical teams on C&S and infrastructure matters

Review and resolve complex technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle

Monitor engineering progress and ensure technical deliverables are completed within the required quality, cost and timeline

Develop and mentor the engineering team, strengthening technical capability and professional standards

Assist in overall Project / Technical-related matters and perform other assignments as delegated by Chief Executive Officer

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering

Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to C&S, infrastructure and earthwork

Strong track record in engineering design, site implementation, technical management and R&D

Professional Engineer (PE) qualification is preferred

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Good attitude, integrity and strong sense of responsibility

Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin

Willing to travel and work at project sites when required
