Job summary

One Belian Seed PLT is seeking a Head of Civil & Structural (C&S) cum Infrastructure to lead strategic technical direction across projects and drive design optimisation. The role requires strong leadership, extensive C&S and infrastructure experience, and the ability to manage complex multi-disciplinary teams.

Candidates should have a Master’s level infrastructure background, excellent communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, and be willing to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in C&S, infrastructure and earthwork.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Proven track record in engineering design, site implementation and R&D.
• Professional Engineer (PE) qualification preferred.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for C&S and infrastructure across projects.

Job description

Head, Civil & Structural (C&S) cum Infrastructure

• Provide strategic technical leadership for all Civil & Structural (C&S) and Infrastructure matters across the Company’s projects.
• Lead the planning, review and delivery of C&S, infrastructure and earthwork engineering solutions, ensuring technical quality, feasibility and compliance.
• Drive Research & Development (R&D) initiatives, technical innovation and design optimisation to enhance project value, efficiency and constructability.
• Provide senior technical advice to Management on engineering feasibility, design, cost optimisation, constructability and project risks.
• Lead and oversee consultants, contractors and internal technical teams on C&S and infrastructure matters.
• Review and resolve complex technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure technical deliverables are completed within the required quality, cost and timeline.
• Develop and mentor the engineering team, strengthening technical capability and professional standards.
• To assist in overall Project / Technical-related matters and perform other assignments as delegated by Chief Executive Officer from time to time.

• Possess Master Infrastructure knowledge, skills & experience will be an added advantage.
