Job summary

TANJUNG MANIS CORPORATION SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Engineer cum QAQC to lead site engineering, QAQC, material management and cross-functional coordination on civil infrastructure projects.

You'll work closely with the Project Manager, QS and Safety Officer, supervise subcontractors, manage NCRs, perform material estimations and ensure compliance with design and QA standards. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of heavy hands-on experience as Site Engineer, QAQC Engineer, or Project Engineer.
• Strong CPM logic and project scheduling knowledge.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and blueprint literacy.
• Ability to measure materials and audit quantities precisely.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure works meet design/specs.
• Create and manage master project schedule using CPM methods.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, QS, and Safety Officer for on-site needs.
• Interface with clients/consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct QAQC inspections and manage NCR lifecycle.
• Verify measurements and material usage for monthly claims.
• Prepare inspection checklists and manage RFIs.
