Job summary

Ann Joo Resources Berhad seeks a QA/QC Engineer to implement and monitor PQP, ITP, and QC procedures across a major infrastructure project. You will review method statements, coordinate with project teams, and ensure all works meet drawings, specs and contractual requirements.

Diploma holders in Civil or Electrical Engineering with 1 year of QA/QC experience are preferred. Willingness to travel to other site projects is required; NTSP and TNB project experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Civil / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1 year of QA/QC Engineer experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Good communication and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good report writing skills.
• Willing to travel to other site projects if required.
• NTSP holder is an added advantage; experience in TNB projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and quality control procedures throughout the project.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure all construction and installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
• Review method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents prior to commencement of works.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on all quality-related matters.
• Monitor and inspect civil, electrical, and mechanical works including equipment foundations, battery container installation, cable works, electrical equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Verify materials, equipment, and components delivered to site comply with approved specifications, certificates, and project requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage quality documentation including IR, MIR, ITR, NCR, CAR, test reports, and as-built documentation.
• Identify quality issues, defects, and non-conformities, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
• Monitor subcontractor workmanship and ensure all works are carried out according to approved method statements, drawings, and quality procedures.
• Maintain proper records of inspection reports, test results, calibration certificates, and quality documentation for project handover.
