Job summary

Kimlun Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC professional to assist in all aspects of QA/QC management on civil construction projects in Malaysia. The role involves statutory QA/QC duties, coordinating QA/QC engineers, and ensuring works comply with approved ITPs for both company and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will act in the QA/QC Manager's absence when authorized, coordinate with the Site Engineer on Method Statements, and participate in regular client and consultant walkthroughs and

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5–8 years of construction industry experience.
• Experience in QA/QC in civil projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in every aspect of the QA/QC Manager duties.
• Act on behalf of the QA/QC Manager in their absence with authorization.
• Plan and monitor QA/QC Engineers activities.
• Ensure works follow the approved Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for own and subcontractor's works.
• Coordinate with Site Engineer on preparation of Method Statement.
• Attend Monthly Walkabout with client and consultant.
• Liaise with site team, client and consultant on QA/QC issues.
• Attend the fortnightly Technical Meeting and Monthly Meeting as directed.
• Educate staff and subcontractors on QA/QC requirements.
