Job summary

Equalbase is seeking a hands-on Property & Facilities Executive to manage the day-to-day operations of our facilities in Malaysia. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, coordinate maintenance programs, and work with contractors on alterations while upholding safety standards.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, a practical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, and fluent English and Malay.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or equipment maintenance.
• Strong supervisory and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Good organization, communication and reporting skills.
• Fluency in English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure smooth facility operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, ACMV, fire alarm, and water systems.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate building and mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Identify potential operating problems and report immediately.
• Coordinate addition & alteration works with contractors.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; support HSE training and drills.
• Assist with reports and ad hoc tasks for Facilities Manager.
• Ensure safe practices and proper tool handling.
• Maintain tools and housekeeping.
• Other duties as required by Facilities Manager.
