Chemical Industries (Malaya) Sdn Bhd in Ipoh seeks a capable Halal Certification Coordinator to lead HAS 2011 implementation and maintain ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 across operations. Responsibilities include coordinating Halal certification with JAKIM/JAIP, conducting internal audits, liaising with regulators, and ensuring safety and housekeeping compliance at the Ipoh site.

• Bachelor's Degree in Halal Management Shariah or halal industry field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in halal industries.
• Knowledge in ISO9001 and ISO22000 management systems desirable.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Willing to work in Ipoh, Tasek Industrial Estate.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate new and renewal of Halal certification applications and extensions with JAKIM/JAIP and other bodies.
• Establish, implement, and maintain the Halal Assurance System (HAS 2011) per JAKIM standards.
• Administer Halal processes and update management on Halal Malaysian Standards changes.
• Maintain ISO 22000 and ISO9001 implementation and effectiveness.
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits for Halal Quality and Food Safety Management System.
• Address non-compliance issues including customer complaints and propose corrective actions.
• Assist with customs documentation and liaise with BOMBA, DOSH, DOE.
• Act as Fire Safety Officer to ensure BOMBA and safety requirements.
• Uphold good housekeeping and occupational safety and health rules.

Coordinate new and renewal of Halal certification applications and extensions with JAKIM/JAIP and other recognized bodies. Ensure the Halal Assurance System (HAS 2011) is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with the standards and regulations of JAKIM and as per the guidelines for the Halal Assurance Management System of Malaysia Halal Certification. Maintain and ensure effective implementation of ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System and ISO9001 Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate new and renewal of Halal certification applications and extensions with JAKIM/JAIP and other recognized bodies

Establish, implement, and maintain the Halal Assurance System (HAS 2011) in accordance with JAKIM standards and regulations

Administer all aspects of the Company's Halal process and update management on the latest changes on Halal Malaysian Standards

Maintain and ensure effective implementation of ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System and ISO9001 Quality Management System

Coordinate and conduct internal audits for effective implementation of the Halal Quality and Food Safety Management System

Attend to non-compliance issues, including customer complaints, and propose corrective actions

Assist in attending to customs administrative documentation and liaison with regulatory departments such as BOMBA, DOSH, DOE

Act as Fire Safety Officer, whenever necessary, to ensure compliance with BOMBA fire safety requirements and workplace safety procedures

Comply with good housekeeping and occupational safety and health rules and regulations

About you

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Halal Management Shariah or in halal industry-related fields

Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in halal industries

Knowledge in ISO9001 and ISO22000 management systems (desirable)

Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu

Willing to work in Ipoh, Tasek Industrial Estate
