Job summary

RICH MILLION CORPORATION SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Halal Compliance Specialist to ensure all food and beverage products meet Halal standards, manage certification activities, and maintain Halal status of suppliers.

You will implement Halal SOPs, conduct audits, train staff, and coordinate with Halal authorities, focusing on traceability, integrity and compliance across receiving, storage, preparation and service areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Halal compliance, food safety, or hospitality operations.
• Strong knowledge of Halal standards, certification procedures and dietary laws.
• Familiarity with HACCP or other food safety management systems is an advantage.
• High integrity, detail-oriented and compliance-driven mindset.
• Strong documentation, communication and staff training skills.
• Certified Halal Executive / Halal Lead Auditor certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food and beverage products comply with Halal standards and certification requirements.
• Liaise with Halal certification authorities for application, renewal, and audit processes.
• Verify and approve Halal-certified suppliers and maintain proper documentation and traceability records.
• Implement and monitor Halal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across receiving, storage, preparation and service areas.
• Prevent cross-contamination through proper segregation, labeling and handling practices.
• Conduct routine inspections of kitchen, storage and service areas to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive records for internal and external Halal audits.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions where non-compliance is identified.
• Conduct Halal awareness and compliance training for kitchen, service and purchasing teams.
• Carry out other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
