Job summary

TBC BAKING SUPPLIES SDN. BHD. is seeking a Halal Supervisor to oversee warehouse Halal compliance and ensure proper handling of products in line with Halal standards. The role involves monitoring receiving, storage, and documentation to prevent contamination and support audits.

The successful candidate will train staff, maintain records, and liaise with Purchasing and Management on Halal matters, working within our Sarawak warehouse network in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse operations comply with Halal requirements and company SOPs.
• Monitor receiving, storage and handling of Halal products to prevent contamination.
• Verify Halal certificates, product labels and supplier documentation.
• Maintain accurate Halal-related records and documentation.
• Conduct regular warehouse hygiene, cleanliness and compliance checks.
• Monitor cleaning, sanitation and pest control activities.
• Train and brief warehouse staff on Halal handling procedures.
• Conduct internal Halal inspections and assist during Halal audits.
• Identify non-compliance issues and follow up on corrective actions.
