Pastaney Restaurant in Kuching, Sarawak is seeking a Service Crew member for a full-time role to deliver exceptional dining experiences with warmth and professionalism.

You will greet guests, seat them, take accurate orders, recommend menu items, and ensure timely service while coordinating with kitchen and bar staff. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant/hospitality is desirable.
• Good communication and guest engagement abilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat at tables, and take orders.
• Provide menu recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Process payments accurately and manage cash/card transactions.
• Maintain table status and anticipate guest needs throughout service.
• Clear and reset tables between courses and guests.
• Restock service stations and keep dining areas clean and organised.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth operations.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
