Job summary

Padi House Holdings Sdn Bhd in Ipoh is seeking an energetic Customer Service & Upselling team member to welcome guests, present menus and take orders in a fast-paced dining setting.

You will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery, handle take-away and delivery orders, maintain cleanliness, and uphold health and safety standards. The role includes cash handling and reservations, with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist seating; provide menus and introduce specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders; note special requests.
• Serve food and drinks timely and professionally; address concerns promptly.
• Input orders into POS system and communicate with kitchen for timely prep.
• Handle take-away and delivery orders; ensure proper presentation before serving.
• Set up tables with cutlery and order lists; clear and sanitize after meals.
• Maintain a clean dining area and ensure health/safety compliance.
• Assist in opening/closing duties; restock and maintain bar when needed.
• Process cash, credit and mobile payments; manage refunds/exchanges with supervisor approval.
• Answer calls professionally and take reservations or orders.
