Job summary

IKAN Glampsite in Bukit Tinggi (Bentong) seeks a friendly receptionist to welcome guests and manage bookings, inquiries, and admin tasks. The role involves coordinating with management, housekeeping, and vendors to ensure smooth reservations and guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has a minimum SPM and may hold a Diploma in Hotel Management or related fields, with at least 1 year of customer service experience. Fluency in English and Bahasa is required, Mandarin is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM; Diploma in Hotel Management, Marketing, or Business Administration encouraged.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Able to exercise good judgement and make decisions independently.
• Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Multitasking, creative, hardworking, and a good team player.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced, changing, and collaborative environment.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa; Mandarin is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Attend to customer enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and the website.
• Manage customer appointments, bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling efficiently.
• Provide accurate information such as treatments, packages, memberships, and promotions.
• Ensure guests enjoy a smooth and pleasant experience.
• Coordinate with management, housekeeping, customer service, maintenance, and vendors to manage reservations.
• Handle customer feedback, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised, welcoming reception at the lobby.
• Use available digital and AI tools to improve efficiency and daily work processes.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc administrative assignments from supervisors.
