Job summary

GAYA CENTRE HOTEL in Sabah is seeking a guest service-oriented team member to welcome guests, attend to their needs, serve drinks and assist with kitchen drinks prep, and ensure orders are prepared accurately and presented well to diners.

You will handle guest complaints with courtesy, maintain a safe, clean, and tidy dining area, keep tables clean, and uphold personal appearance and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Guest service orientation required.
• Ability to handle guest complaints politely.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and ensure they are attended to at all times.
• Serve customers in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
• Run the drinks preparation section of the kitchen.
• Ensure food orders are made correctly by Kitchen staff and look presentable for guests.
• Deal with guest complaints.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy workplace.
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times.
• Maintain personal appearance and hygiene.
