Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a friendly and energetic service assistant to welcome guests, take accurate orders, and provide menu information with promotions. You will ensure service standards are met, coordinate with the kitchen, and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced outlet.

You should have at least 1 year in F&B, strong communication, and a team-oriented attitude. Shifts include weekends and public holidays, with opportunities to contribute to promotions and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in F&B/service industry is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, polite, and well-groomed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests with seating and provide menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Provide information about menu items, promotions, and recommendations when required.
• Serve food and beverages according to outlet standards.
• Attend to guests’ requests and ensure customer satisfactions.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and report to the Supervisor when necessary.
• Ensure tables, dining areas, service stations, and surrounding areas are clean and properly arranged.
• Prepare the outlet before opening and assist with closing procedures.
• Set up tables, cutleries, glassware, and other service items according to outlet standards.
• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave.
• Coordinate with the kitchen/bar to ensure orders are prepared and served accurately.
• Assist with billing and payment collection when required.
• Ensure all transactions are handled according to company procedures.
