Job summary

Tencent is seeking a Business Operations professional in Malaysia to collaborate with BD, strengthen merchant relations, and explore opportunities within the WeChat ecosystem.

You will conduct market and user research, arrange material deployment, support communications with partners, and help forge collaborations with universities and key commercial areas to deepen WeChat Pay and ecosystem adoption.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English and Mandarin with HQ and partners
• Strong project management and execution capabilities
• Self-motivated and proactive in task completion
• Familiarity with WeChat/WeChat Pay product ecosystem and payments industry

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Development to strengthen customer relations and explore opportunities.
• Coordinate with Key Account merchants or institutions regarding access, materials, and activities.
• Conduct Market Research including store inspections, market dynamics, and user research.
• Arrange on-site material deployment for areas not covered by institutions.
• Assist in business communications explaining product updates and opportunities to partners.
• Forge collaborations with universities, commercial areas, and other partners to deepen WeChat ecosystem reach
