Job summary

BIT Official in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a data-driven Business Operations Analyst to monitor OTC and Payments performance, identify growth opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to leadership. You will collaborate with Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to drive improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, hands-on experience in FinTech/Payments, and strong Excel skills; SQL/BI knowledge is a plus for deeper analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, and Business Analysis.
• FinTech, Payments, OTC, or Financial Services experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial thinking skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to take ownership of initiatives.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; SQL or BI tools is a plus.
• Experience in OTC, Payments, Digital Assets, or FinTech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the performance of OTC and Payment businesses, including revenue, volume, client activity, conversion, and operational efficiency.
• Identify business growth opportunities, operational gaps, and areas for improvement through data analysis, market research, and business insights.
• Track market trends, competitors, and customer needs, and provide actionable recommendations to support business strategy and management decisions.
• Drive business improvement and growth initiatives from analysis and planning through execution and performance tracking.
• Work closely with Product, Sales/BD, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to improve business performance and client experience.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis to support timely business decisions.
• Proactively identify new ideas and opportunities to help expand and optimize the OTC and Payment businesses.
• Undertake other business-related responsibilities and ad-hoc initiatives as assigned by the business team.
