Job summary

SmartHire by SEEK is seeking a Business Development Executive / Assistant Manager (AI Building Solutions) in Malaysia to drive growth in the commercial and smart building sectors.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with owners and developers, and establish partnerships with BAS/BMS contractors and ESCOs. Travel for customer meetings may be required as you manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to project award.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in business development or related sales.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or marketing as stated.
• Experience in BMS/BAS/HVAC or energy management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities for AI building solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, consultants, and facility managers.
• Establish partnerships with BAS/BMS contractors, ESCOs, integrators, and industry partners.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities in smart building and energy management.
• Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to negotiation and project awards.
• Conduct customer meetings to understand energy-saving needs and technical requirements.
