Job summary

SONAX Malaysia seeks a driven Business Development & Sales Manager to grow the SONAX brand and its sales channels in Malaysia. This hands-on role focuses on building relationships, expanding trade partners and growing direct-to-consumer presence.

You will lead business development across B2B channels—including dealerships, car wash operators, automotive retailers, DIY/hardware stores, and resellers—while also expanding B2C sales through Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, resilient and results-oriented with the ability to plan work independently.
• Good CRM skills and disciplined sales reporting.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to communicate product value.
• Comfortable with both B2B and B2C/e-commerce growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans to grow SONAX's sales and market presence in Malaysia.
• Identify and onboard new B2B partners across dealerships, car wash and grooming operators, automotive retailers, DIY and hardware stores, and resellers.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and channel partners; understand their needs and recommend suitable products and commercial arrangements.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to onboarding and follow-up.
• Grow B2C sales through the brand's online store, Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
• Develop channel-specific sales initiatives and support product launches, campaigns, promotions and partner activations.
• Track sales performance, pipeline activity, customer engagement and forecasts; maintain CRM records.
• Prepare regular sales updates using market, customer and competitor insights to identify opportunities and address challenges.
• Work with internal teams and partners to deliver a consistent customer experience and achieve sales targets.
• Represent the SONAX brand professionally in meetings, industry events and other activities.
