Job summary

Always Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail‑oriented Group HR Leader/Assistant HR Manager to oversee HR operations in Malaysia, design policies, and drive improvements that support business growth and efficiency across the organization.

You will manage payroll & benefits, implement performance management, handle employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, and HR process optimization while safeguarding confidentiality and integrity in a fast‑growing SEA market.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Professional HR certification is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian labour law and statutory regulations.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and adapt to HR systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, positive attitude and ability to motivate and engage teams.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Review, formulate and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with requirements and best practice.
• Implement HR improvement activities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify HR innovations and continuous improvement.
• Support implementation of performance management frameworks addressing skill gaps and career growth.
• Manage payroll processing and employee benefits programs.
• Attend to employee relations, disciplinary issues and grievance handling with professionalism.
• Promote positive workplace culture through effective communication and relationship-building.
• Assist onboarding, offboarding and orientation processes for a seamless employee experience.
