Job summary

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Kuala Lumpur seeks a dynamic Manager of Group & Catering Sales. You will proactively solicit and manage group/catering opportunities, up-sell to maximize revenue, and ensure timely turnover for service delivery.

The role focuses on driving loyalty through outstanding service and growth of account share on behalf of the company. You will collaborate with Event Management and Operations to exceed guest expectations, while building lasting relationships with clients

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

Solicit and manage group/catering opportunities to achieve revenue goals.
Upsell opportunities to maximize revenue and ensure proper turnover for service delivery.
Drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence across every customer experience.
Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders to grow future bookings.
Prepare proposals and write contracts for booked events.
