Regent Kuala Lumpur, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a Catering & Events Sales Manager to drive revenue for meetings, conferences, weddings, and banqueting spaces. The position involves leading the sales process, building corporate relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and representing the hotel at industry events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in catering, events or hotel sales, ideally within a luxury environment.
• Strong negotiation, client relationship and proposal writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet revenue targets.
• Fluent English required; other languages an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales process for catering and events enquiries from initial contact through to contract signing.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, agencies and repeat event hosts.
• Coordinate with events, culinary and operations teams to ensure proposals are achievable and detailed.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments.
• Represent Regent Kuala Lumpur at industry events to generate new business.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, proposals and bookings in the hotel's sales system.
