Job summary

QUETTA BYTE SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced hardware technician to diagnose and repair GPU and AI servers. You will travel to sites with spare parts, perform component replacements, and recover systems while maintaining detailed repair logs.

The role demands hands-on skills in server architecture, BIOS/BMC/IPMI tasks, and the use of GPU tools to verify function. 2+ years of relevant experience is required, with strong teamwork and pressure tolerance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electronics/CS/Mechatronics or related field.
• GPU server or AI server repair experience is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in server/hardware repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and coordinate server fault reports with customers and O&M team.
• Carry spare parts and tools to site for routine hardware troubleshooting.
• Maintain repair records and share updates with relevant departments.
• Coordinate with Chip Repair, TE, and RMA teams for handovers.
• Diagnose faults, replace components, and perform system recovery.
• Assist with BIOS, BMC, IPMI configuration and troubleshooting.
• Work with GPU/ liquid-cooled GPU servers; assist cooling modules if needed.
• Use Linux/Windows tools (nvidia-smi, CUDA tests) for verification.
• Document issues clearly with technical records and reports.
• Maintain composure in fast-paced environments and work under pressure.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers; support 7x12 operations.
