You will read schematics, perform BGA rework, and document repair records, with NVIDIA GPU experience preferred and collaboration within a technical team to ensure high uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–7 years' experience in server hardware maintenance with GPU focus.
• Expertise in board-level troubleshooting of GPU server mainboards.
• Experience with BGA rework and reballing (mandatory).
• Ability to read electronic schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

GPU Hardware Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced GPU Hardware Field Service Engineer to diagnose, repair, and maintain enterprise GPU server hardware, ensuring the reliability and performance of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform board-level troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on GPU server mainboards, including B-Series and H-Series architectures.
• Carry out hardware repairs, including BGA rework and reballing.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics, hardware specifications, and technical manuals to support repair and maintenance activities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to minimise hardware failures.
• Utilise server diagnostic, monitoring, and hardware management tools for effective troubleshooting.
• Manage hardware assets, repair records, component replacement history, and inventory documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve complex hardware issues and support continuous optimisation of GPU server infrastructure.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and reports.
• Support hardware upgrades, configuration management, and incident response as required.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3-7 years' experience in server hardware maintenance, with strong exposure to GPU server infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in board-level troubleshooting of GPU server mainboards.
• Proven expertise in electronic circuit fault diagnosis.
• Proven expertise in hardware repair, including BGA rework and reballing (mandatory).
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, hardware specifications, and technical manuals.
• Strong experience supporting NVIDIA GPU servers; AMD GPU server experience also considered.
• Good understanding of B-Series and H-Series GPU server architectures and hardware components.
• Experience using server diagnostic, monitoring, and hardware management tools.
• Basic networking knowledge for server connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise asset management systems, repair tracking systems, and inventory management.
• Excellent documentation and technical reporting skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with GPU benchmarking, stress testing, and profiling tools (NVIDIA, AMD Instinct, Huawei Ascend).
• Experience with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Ceph, KVM, or VMware.
• Relevant industry certifications, such as Dell EMC Server Certifications, HPE Server Certifications, Huawei Server Certifications, CompTIA Server+, or RHCE.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
