Job summary

Jaya Grocer is seeking a Stock Receiving Clerk to be based at the nearest outlet to your home in Kuala Lumpur. You will receive quantity stock against purchase orders and supplier invoices, check contents, and sign goods received notes.

The role requires a Diploma, Bahasa Malaysia and English, plus basic communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field is required.
• Proficient in basic communication and interpersonal relations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive quantity stock according to purchase orders and supplier invoices.
• Check and receive stock according to purchase orders, supplier invoices and IBT.
• Inspect contents to ensure undamaged items and valid expiry dates.
• Handle damaged and spoiled products following receiving SOP.
• Ensure compliance with health department, weights and measures, and sticker regulations.
• Enter data accurately into the system and sign goods receipt notes.
• Maintain receiving processes per company SOP.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the storage area and equipment.
• Perform other duties in general operations and ad-hoc tasks.

Job description

You will be based at the nearest Jaya Grocer outlet to your house.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive quantity stock according purchase order number with supplier invoices.
• Check and receive stock according to our purchase order, supplier invoice and IBT (Inter-branch transfer).
• Inspect correct contents to ensure they are undamaged and expired date of products
• Handling damaged and spoiled products according to receiving SOP and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods
• Ensuring compliance with health department, weights and measure requirements, liquor, tobacco laws and relevant stickers such as custom sticker, ingredient sticker, imported by supplier’s sticker, MC logo, and invoice handling
• Ensure accurate data key in into system accordingly and sign goods receive notes
• Ensure all process of receiving are accurate and maintaining as per company SOP.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the storage area and entire department as well as equipment according to company SOP.
• Perform any other duties in general operational functions and ad-hoc assignments.

You should have

• Required education: minimum of Diploma in any field
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Basic communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Customer satisfaction oriented
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
