Job summary

Forest City Hotel in Malaysia is seeking a golf course maintenance technician to perform turf care, including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, irrigating, and overseeding, to ensure healthy turf.

You will maintain the overall landscape of the golf course such as trees, shrubs and flower beds, and prepare the course for daily play by positioning tee markers, raking bunkers and installing flagsticks. Safety practices and PPE must be followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in turf maintenance and landscape care is preferred.
• Ability to operate golf course maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform turf maintenance tasks such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, irrigating, and overseeding to ensure healthy turf
• Care for the overall landscape of the golf course, including the upkeep of trees, shrubs, and flower beds
• Apply pest and disease management practices to protect turf and plants
• Prepare the course for daily play by positioning tee markers, raking bunkers, and installing flagsticks
• Carry out routine checks on equipment before operation and ensure all machinery is cleaned after use
• Comply with all safety regulations and always use the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
