Job summary

Kelab Golf Negara Subang is seeking an IT Manager to lead the club's IT department in Malaysia. You will oversee hardware, software, networking, and data processing while ensuring smooth IT operations and strategic alignment with business needs.

You will manage service levels, end-user support, and IT security, directing policy development and staff training. Golf industry familiarity is a plus, with a focus on minimizing downtime and improving member services.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and IT security.
• Ability to manage email servers, websites, internet services, and backup systems.
• Experience in end-user support and providing basic IT training to staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, propose and organize the computerization of Club’s operation.
• Implement appropriate system to enhance service to members.
• Provide system support to end users (back office and operations).
• Provide reports, statistical data, ad hoc reporting to management as and when required.
• Provide IT training as and when required.
• Security-related duties: protect databases, backups, and enforce usage policies.
• Maintain computer systems and peripherals to minimize downtime.
