Job summary

Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) is seeking an experienced Events & Partnerships professional to plan and execute high-profile club events. You will manage budgets, schedules, vendors and on-site coordination to deliver exceptional member experiences.

This role requires strong planning, vendor management and cross-department collaboration, with the ability to work outside hours for events and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in event management, hospitality, marketing, lifestyle, club operations or a related industry.
• Proven experience in managing events from planning through execution.
• Experience in budget management, forecasting and vendor management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Club social and family events, member activities, corporate events, tournaments, partnerships and activations.
• Develop event concepts, proposals, timelines, budgets and operational plans.
• Manage vendors and suppliers, including quotations, negotiations, production timelines and delivery.
• Coordinate the updating, production and installation of Club signage and advertising assets, including banners, posters and other promotional materials.
• Liaise with designers, vendors and departments to ensure assets are accurate and aligned with branding standards.
• Prepare event proposals, presentation decks, budgets and Management updates.
• Coordinate procurement requirements including purchase requisitions, POs and invoices.
• Provide on-site event coordination and resolve operational issues when required.
• Prepare post-event reports and maintain proper event documentation and records.
• Monitor overall departmental budget and forecast monthly variances.
