Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Logistics/Import-Export coordinator in Selangor to handle documentation, bookings and coordination with suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, transport companies and customers.

You will monitor inventory levels and warehouse operations, coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales and Finance to ensure smooth supply chain operations, and strive to improve logistics costs and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, import/export or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in import/export, shipping, logistics or supply chain, in food manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of import/export documentation and shipping procedures.
• Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Good command of Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to liaise with diverse clients, suppliers, or associates

Responsibilities

• Handle import and export documentation and related procedures.
• Arrange shipping bookings, freight forwarding and transportation.
• Coordinate with supplier, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, transport companies and customers.
• Coordinate production and shipment planning.
• Monitor inventory levels and warehouse operations.
• Follow up on stock movement, inventory accuracy and slow-moving stock.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales and Finance to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Monitor logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
