Job summary

MFG TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. is seeking a sourcing professional to identify and develop suppliers locally and overseas for raw materials, components, tooling, and services. You will evaluate quotations based on price, quality, lead time, and compliance.

The role requires a Diploma in a related field and 2–3 years in sourcing or procurement, with strong negotiation and analytical skills. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 2–3 years in sourcing, procurement or supplier development.
• Knowledge of RFQ processes, quotation comparison, cost analysis, supplier evaluation.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 supplier management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop qualified local and overseas suppliers for raw materials, components, tooling, equipment, consumables, packaging, and subcontracting services.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, lead time, capacity, payment terms, delivery performance, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct price comparison, cost analysis, and commercial negotiation to achieve competitive pricing and cost reductions.
• Support new project sourcing activities, including RFQ issuance, quotation collection, sample arrangement, supplier selection, and project cost evaluation.
• Coordinate supplier qualification and onboarding activities with documentation and certification checks.
• Maintain and continuously develop the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and sourcing database with supplier data and performance history.
• Monitor market conditions to identify alternative sources and reduce supply chain risks.
