Job summary

23 Glove (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a procurement professional to source, purchase, and manage suppliers for raw materials and packaging, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement to keep production running smoothly.

You will negotiate terms, monitor supplier performance, coordinate with warehouse and production planning, and maintain records. Diploma/degree in business or supply chain with at least two years' procurement experience is required, along with proficiency in procurement software

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier management experience.
• Proficient in procurement systems/software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials (latex/nitrile compound, packaging materials, consumables)
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationships
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Material Planning & Control to align procurement with stock levels and production needs
• Maintain procurement records and support cost-control initiatives
