Job summary

MSD Malaysia is seeking a Senior Specialist for Meeting Services Support to provide expert operations guidance across markets, ensuring compliant, end‑to‑end meeting and event administration. You will coordinate workloads, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in partnership with BPO, Compliance, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Science, or a related discipline.
• Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in meeting operations, finance operations, accounts payable, or a comparable controlled environment.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and governance skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and modern collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the operational subject‑matter expert for assigned markets, meeting types, processes, systems, or service areas.
• Coordinate workload priorities during peak periods and ensure adherence to procedures and market requirements.
• Monitor service levels, aging, backlogs, and escalation status; prepare governance‑call updates and action trackers.
• Support process mapping, training, go‑live, hypercare, and stabilization for new scope and transitions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Meeting Owners, Compliance, Finance, and external service providers to ensure compliant execution.
