Job summary

MerchantSpring is building a dedicated commercial division focused on selling to brands and vendors across e-commerce marketplaces. We are looking for a Sales Development Representative who is skilled in outbound prospecting and enjoys a high degree of ownership.

You’ll work directly with senior leadership and our Account Executive to build the outbound engine for this market and shape how MerchantSpring sells to brands and vendors globally.

Qualifications

• Proven SDR, BDR, outbound sales, or lead gen experience.
• Strong cold outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Experience using Apollo, HubSpot or similar tools.
• Clear written communication for outbound messages.
• Comfort using AI tools or automation to boost productivity.
• Strong CRM discipline and attention to detail.
• Business‑fluent English with clients in multiple regions.
• Eligible to work in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Prospect into brands, vendors, and e‑commerce leads.
• Build targeted accounts and contact lists.
• Research target leads and buying signals.
• Write sharp outbound messages that generate responses.
• Deploy AI tools to improve prospecting efficiency and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and data.
• Share learnings with the sales team.
