Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia in Penang is seeking a seasoned lead for global transfer projects. You will lead cross‑functional teams across manufacturing sites, engineering, finance, marketing and quality to deliver complex product transfers in a multi‑cultural environment.

The role includes driving product ramp-up, ensuring lifecycle support after transfer, and owning post‑qualification change management across all functions after production release. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronical Engineering or in Physics.
• At least 5 years of functional experience in the semiconductor industry in manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain
• Experience in working in multicultural organizations
• Knowledge & experience in industry environment of semiconductor manufacturing & automation; knowledge of industry standards, benchmarks and competitors
• A high degree of analytical skills: structuring of complex situation considering dependencies and priorities
• Experience with the implementation of innovative solutions in technology and product development, manufacturing, product transfer and conversions/changes
• Fluent skills in English

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer projects as project manager or lead the volume core team across global sites.
• Contribute to product ramp-up and ensure product lifetime across FE and BE.
• Own post-qualification and change management across functions after release.
• Act as business project leader for product transfers for defined product portfolio.
• Address production/quality deviations with root-cause analysis where delivery impact is expected.
• Define and implement supply chain and production concepts, integrating logistical requirements.
• Identify yield detractors through electrical and data analysis and drive containment actions
