Job summary

Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Staff Specialist Production Management to act as the main interface between Business Line and Operations, owning products from development through production. You will drive ramp‑up, manufacturing readiness, and cross‑functional project execution across a global supply chain.

You will lead cost and quality improvements, manage capacity, and steer digitization and operational excellence initiatives to sustain long‑term manufacturing strategy

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and product lifecycle management.
• Proven experience leading complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge existing processes and drive improvements.
• Experience in manufacturing optimization, cost reduction, digitization, or operational excellence projects is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage and influence global and multicultural stakeholders effectively.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface between Business Line and Operations for product and manufacturing alignment.
• Take ownership of assigned products through production lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive ramp-up and volume manufacturing targets.
• Implement manufacturing strategies including product transfers and industrialization.
• Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction across yield, test, material, and process areas.
• Drive digitization and operational excellence projects to improve performance.
• Lead 8D problem-solving and cross-functional task forces to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure availability, productivity, quality, and delivery.
