Job summary

Mason & Co in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia is seeking a Procurement & Logistics professional to lead strategic procurement and logistics functions globally, focusing on cost control, efficiency, and supplier management.

Mandarin proficiency is required for dealing with suppliers in China; you will drive centralized procurement strategies and collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Engineering to enhance profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Economics, Engineering or related field.
10+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing or multinational.
Strong strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiation and cost reduction.
Experience in centralized procurement and driving cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

Oversee procurement and logistics activities to achieve cost savings.
Manage procurement across units and control spending.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs via supplier negotiation and consolidation.
Source and develop new suppliers for reliable networks.
Identify supplier risks and explore alternative sources.
Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Eng to support profitability.
Track performance, savings, and supplier metrics for management updates.
