Job summary

CENTURY CURTAIN WALL (M) SDN. BHD is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing activities, from sourcing to purchase orders, while building strong supplier relationships to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing.

You will coordinate with Sales, Production, Project and Operations, manage inbound/outbound shipments, and prepare procurement reports. Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred for communication with China partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and multi-tasking.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred as this role requires communication with suppliers and business partners from China.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities including sourcing, obtaining quotations, price negotiation, and issuing purchase orders.
• Build and maintain good relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
• Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport providers.
• Prepare and manage import and export documentation where required.
• Work closely with Sales, Production, Project, and Operations teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Resolve supply and delivery issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and procurement costs.
• Prepare procurement and logistics reports for management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement and logistics efficiency.
