Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders from MRP triggers or approved requisitions.
• Amend POs (quantity, delivery dates) per SLA timelines.
• Confirm order status with suppliers and obtain timely acknowledgements.
• Follow up on outstanding orders; manage reschedules or escalations.
• Maintain open order books for assigned categories/sites.
• Serve as first contact for suppliers on routine orders and documentation.
• Escalate delays or deviations to site buyers.
• Support documentation for order confirmations, shipping documents, and issues.
• Maintain supplier master data, pricing, lead times in the ERP system.
• Ensure transactions comply with procurement policies and audit standards.
• Generate reports (PO status, delivery performance) for KPI tracking.
