Job summary

NetApp in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a payroll professional with 5–7 years of APAC/global payroll experience. The role covers end-to-end payroll processing, coordinating inputs from multiple departments, posting journal entries, and ensuring timely statutory filings.

You will work with the service provider to ensure accurate payroll funding and respond to employee inquiries. The position emphasizes confidentiality, audit readiness, and strong Excel skills, with a hybrid work approach in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Handling External and Internal Audits.
• Ensure confidentiality of employees & pay records.
• Escalate issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem solving and customer service mindset.
• Very strong calculation / analytical skills.
• Intermediate or higher MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end payroll process of assigned countries.
• Gather information from various departments on payroll inputs and share with service provider in prescribed formats.
• Preparing and posting all payroll journal entries & reconciliation of accounts.
• Coordinate with accounting and finance team to arrange payroll funds.
• Consolidating bank details and upload for salary process.
• Timely submission of filings, reporting and payments to statutory bodies.
• Clarify all queries related to payroll with employees, service providers or internal teams.
• Addressing employee inquiries and resolving payroll discrepancies.
